Date: Saturday 12.4.25 Time : 10am - 4.00pm Location: Ashley Bank House, High Street, Langholm, Dumfriesshire DG13 0AN Ann Smith has been creating and teaching wool felting for a number of years. She has exhibited in Perthshire, Angus, Cumbria, The Scottish Borders and Dumfries and Galloway. At this full day wool felt 'painting' workshop you will learn how to create your very own piece of art work using beautiful merino wool fibres, silk fibres and wool curls. We will work on a floral themed piece. You will learn how to use the wet felting technique, as well as a little bit of needle felting at this workshop. Bring an old bath towel and a bag to put your wet towel and work into at the end of the class. Bring your own photos for inspiration if preferred. This workshop is suitable for beginners and those with a little bit of experience. Minimum of 4 people and max. of 6 per workshop. The cost is £90 per person which includes all your materials, tutoring and a light lunch. The light lunch consists of a delicious selection of freshly made sandwiches and tasty treats. Refreshments will be provided tea/ coffee and biscuits. If you have any dietary requirements please add details to the booking form. Payment is required at time of booking, to confirm you place. Cancellation: If the event organiser has to cancel a workshop, notification will be given as soon as possible. A full refund will be given or an alternative date will be given. Cancellations of bookings by the applicant must be made no later than 14 days prior to the event start date for a full refund to be given. In the event of cancellation by the applicant within 7 days of the start date, 50% of the event charge will be refunded. No refund will be paid if participants do not turn up for a booked workshop.
