Date: Saturday 8th March 2025 Time : 10am - 4.00pm Location: Ashley Bank House, High Street, Langholm, Dumfriesshire DG13 0AN Ann Smith has been creating and teaching wool felting for a number of years. She has exhibited in her native Perthshire, Angus, Cumbria, The Scottish Borders and Dumfries and Galloway. At this full day wool felt 'painting' workshop you will learn how to create your very own piece of art work using beautiful merino wool fibres, silk fibres, wool curls and more. You will learn how to use the wet felting technique, as well as a little bit of needle felting at this workshop to a create your very own piece of art that is landscape inspired. Bring your own photographs for inspiration, an old bath towel and a bag to put your wet towel and work into at the end of the class. This workshop is suitable for beginners and those with a little bit of experience. AGE 16 + Minimum of 4 people and max. of 6 per workshop. The cost is £90 per person. This includes all materials, tutoring, refreshments of tea/coffee/biscuits and a light lunch. The light lunch consists of a selection of delicious sandwiches and sweet tasty treats Please advise of any dietary requirements on the booking form. Payment is required at time of booking to confirm you place. Terms & Conditions: Payment must be made at the time of booking to confirm your place. Booking must be done online via Ann Smith Art directly. Cancellation: If the event organiser has to cancel a workshop, notification will be given as soon as possible. A full refund will be given or an alternative date will be given. Cancellations of bookings by the applicant must be made no later than 14 days prior to the event start date for a full refund to be given. In the event of cancellation by the applicant within 7 days of the start date, 50% of the event charge will be refunded. No refund will be paid if participants do not turn up for a booked workshop.
